When building on sites with poor ground conditions, often the most economical approach to provide stable foundations is to improve the bearing pressure of the soil rather than attempt to construct a transfer slab or pile caps and by-pass the weaker soils with piled foundations founded in deeper horizons

Ground Improvement systems offer the potential for cost savings by avoiding the need for suspended ground slabs and pile caps and adopting simpler sub structures and, in most cases, the lack of spoil generation.
