Vibro Compaction

Vibro Compaction using probe-type vibrators hung from cranes or mounted on piling equipment to densify granular soils up to 40m deep. As the vibratory action re-arranges the soil particles, granular backfill is introduced into the annulus around the vibrator to maintain the platform and assist in densification.
Vibro-compaction decreases settlement, increases bearing capacity and mitigates liquefaction potential in seismic areas.
