TechniquesJet GroutingJet Grouting is a ground modification system used to create insitu, cemented soils. The method allows improvement of both mass and discrete zones of soil to depths of over 40m without the need to treat all the way to surface. Applications include mass treatment, e.g. to form gravity structures or retaining systems or improving discrete soft or permeable soil horizons. The capability of installing columns at angles up to 45degrees provides benefits when using the system to underpin structures such as historic or heritage structures and on tunnelling projects where zones of deep loose or high permeability soils require improvement. | ||
