LCM Dry Soil Mixing
With the increasing requirement for construction on soft wet clays and mud deposits LCM Dry Soil Mixing
provides a cost effective method for improvement of these soils.
Dry cement or lime powder is mechanically blended with the insitu soil using the insitu moisture of the soil to hydrate the binder,
this allows for lower binder quantities and for rapid installation with minimal plant, importantly the plant is lightweight and as
such requires little in the way of working platforms.
The method is used for stabilisation of soft soils for roads, rail, working platforms, residential and warehouse constructions,
storage tanks, excavations in soft soil, and base stabilisation in cofferdams.
The method can be used over water and on land and produces virtually zero spoil.
Typical applications include settlement and stability improvement below road and rail embankments as well as improvement
of dredged material for future land use.
