Micro-piles

Micro-piles are generally defined as piles with a diameter of less than 300mm. They are typically installed using flushed or augered drilling systems and can be designed to support loads of greater than 1000kN given favourable ground conditions.
Micro-piles are generally installed with small hydraulic drilling rigs of less than 12tonne in mass and in headroom as low as 3.0m. They are typically installed where access constraints prohibit the use or large piling plant.

Ground Anchors / Soil Nails

Rock anchors, soil anchors and soil nails are temporary or permanent structural elements designed to withstand lateral or uplift forces.
